Victoria, MN is a charming town 30 minutes southwest of Minneapolis, located along the Southwest shorts of Lake Minnetonka. Victoria is known as the City of Lakes and Parks and if you make a visit it will be easy to see why. It’s population is just over 7,500 and is a growing, thriving community.
Among other services, Victoria is home to a recreation cetner, a full service bank, multiple places of worship, fine dining and fast food options, and much more! The business community continues to grow after a recent downtown re-development.
The outdoor enthusiast has numerous options in the city of Victoria. It has over 200 acres of reserved land, 22 parks and 12 lakes within its borders. Victoria is also home to Carver Park Reserve, a 1,200+ acre park laced with many scenic trails for walking, running and hiking. The city also has a public golf course, Deer Run Golf Course, which is noted for friendly service and impeccably maintained course.
Victoria has a wide variety of housing options - from luxury lakeshore property to historic houses, and condos to townhomes. Another great housing option in Victoria is the plethora of new construction opportunities, including fantastic new developments such as Wassermann Lake Woods right on the brink of Lake Wassermann and Six Mile Creek.
Victoria is home to two schools: Holy Family Catholic High School and Victoria Elementary School. Victoria is a great spot for a budding family, as over 52% of the population is married families with children.
